Mark Bradtke "slash"
Mark Bradtke started with the Tigers in 1993 and combining with star players Andrew Gaze and Lanard Copeland transformed them from pretenders to a genuine championship team. That year would see the Tigers win their first ever championship and they got their second in 1997 defeating their cross-town rivals the South East Melbourne Magic. In 2002 Mark received the ultimate individual NBL accolade when he won his first and only NBL MVP award. He was selected to the NBL 20th Anniversary Team in 1998 and the NBL 25th Anniversary Team in 2003. After 377 NBL games with the Melbourne Tigers, Bradtke played his last of 13 seasons with them in 2004-05. In his MVP season (2002), Bradtke averaged 22.6 points, 13.1 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1.3 blocks.
