From 1992 to 2005, Lanard Copeland played for the Melbourne Tigers, winning league championships in 1993 and 1997. He was also the NBL Grand Final MVP in 1997. Copeland was the NBL’s best "wing man" to Andrew Gaze during the 90s. During his stint at the Tigers Lanard was one of the most exciting players in the NBL, often being seen on highlight reels with his high flying dunks. One of Lanard’s best years was in 2002 when he averaged 25.3 points, 4.2 boards, 3.4 assists, 1.1 steals and 3.8 triples.
