Our sweet one year old has been through a lot in his life. He was born 4 weeks premature and immediately had trouble with his O2 dropping into the 70's. He was placed on a CPAP and oxygen. At day 5 he had his first seizure, day 6 he had to have a platelet transfusion, day 7 he was treated for viral meningitis, and day 9 he had his first SVT episode. He went home after 3 weeks with 24-7 oxygen, as well as a heart monitor. He has failed 3 sleep studies for central sleep apnea, as well as has been hospitalized 4 times with 6 different viruses. Just after his first birthday he was diagnosed with hypoglycemia and had another seizure due to it dropping so low.
